The Blue Box

It's only a legend A mere fairytale, if you will of a mad man in a blue box Through time and space, he sits still Pondering on the loneliness Within his two hearts He wonders where and when the next journey will start With the burden of a thousand universes Weighing down on his back He only yearns for company For which he lacks As I look up in the stars, I search for that blue box Wishing and waiting For him to take me away from this dull rock They say he isn't real, But I've seen him in my dreams I've waited on him for years To come and rescue me I'll find that blue box Eventually.. Someday.. And the mad man will sweep me away And when I see it, I'll be ready
