Blue Eyes
Blue eyes fill the room,
with intimidating beauty.
For blue eyes, many swoon,
but no one sees past them truly.
Blue eyes are like the ocean,
they hold many secrets, deep down.
Make you believe like a love potion;
all to divert from the way they drown.
Tears well up, but you won't see.
Much stronger are prides
than the fragile sea.
Beauty hurts all kinds.
The ones without
and the ones like mine.
Intimidation drives confidence out;
in different ways it hurts both sides of the line.
Neither escapes the waves unscathed.
It lashes out at one and crashes on the other,
But only after they parade
thinking they got a victory over the other.
Sometimes blue eyes are mean.
Sometimes blue eyes are kind.
Sometimes blue eyes dream
of a world without hurt, like mine.
Blue eyes, always misunderstood
sometimes for the better,
sometimes for disaster,
if only you understood.
But you do,
only you don't know.
green, brown ,and hazel too
all know how it feels like to be broken
Full speed ahead
to a world where no one stood.
Blue eyes will forever stay strong,
to forge a path through what’s misunderstood.
