BLUE MONSTERS
The young child all in his room
full of blue emotions
listening to MCR
for hours on end.
The child’s mother is tripping,
with her new boyfriend
neglecting her child. The child
is confused why he is confined here
and not Neptune or even Mars.
The child thinks that if he lived in
Neptune he thinks it would be
fantastic and different.
The child coughs and coughs
once again his mother smokes
another pack of her prized
Camel cigarettes then she wonders
why her child dislikes and
despises her. The cycle repeats.
