Blue Ridge Mountains (Haiku)

 • The rolling blue ridges
 • Reach to the heavens to touch the clouds--
 • The hikers' heavy breath.

I really like this poem's images. The description of the mountains and then directly

cutting to the hiker is really great. The imagery of the ridges is very powerful. The

hiker, I can also see really clearly without too much description. I am not a huge fan

of the bullet points, mostly because I can't figure out what their purpose is. The poem

itself is great it's really just the bullet points.
