Blue Screens

Nothing more than a common occasion,

but dating my life

faster than a calendar.

Running my heart,

breaking beyond  repair.

Pacing my eyes,

but end up reading

into a frenzied panic.

Further my fingers stretch

for the keys.

Provoking sensations and

etching words into my mind

in resonance with my hands.

The reaction turning everything into a haze

or that could be my tears.

I only need a response,

the anticipation hurts.

This shouldn’t be so difficult,

but it was you doing this to me.
