Bluntly Put

You may be the only person I hate,
And that’s the terrible thing about
Hating someone.
You realize at one point or another
That despite their ugly flaws,
The things that makes you wish
A pack of wild rabid dogs would tear them to pieces
(Just as you tore me)
Are the same flaws
You may posses
And even if you don’t posses those flaws at all.
There comes a time when you reach this
Epiphany
In which you silently contemplate the fact that you are
No better
Than them.
