Blurred Lines

Thought I could drink the pain away A couple more shots to put the shame away But it didn't work I'm still here...in my bed Stuck Cause I really wish I could cum to your name the way I did all those other nights But I can't I'm still pissed at you For how dishonest you were With all those talks about us You lied I wonder if I ever can look at you the same Cause the fact that I can't get the thought of you spending time with some other girl the way you should with me Troubles me You give me every excuse as to why you can't come see Why taking our relationship to the next step, as in meeting my parents is unpleasant for you Well this is a continuation of behavior that reads unpleasant for me too I won't get comfortable allowing you to grace some other girl's presence And you placing me in these uncomfortable situations is tiresome It will only be the death of us I love you But right now I don't like you I swallow my pride and discomfort only to make you happy Never mind telling you how I feel "He needs me, so I'll keep the peace" But tonight, my vision is a lil blurry And I'm like, Fuck that You were wrong And though you may think everything is cool You may think you didn't jeopardize your relationship You did Last night a lil peace of my trust in you cracked off And all I could think is, Damn I can't get that back
