Like A Boat

The heart broken handshake is slowly crumbling around me

The acid of my heart dissolving the stitched remains

You blink at this darkening heart of mine

You turn away from the impending strom

Content in the false calm

Lets not make it complicated

I may be lost in more ways than one

In your eyes I twinkle in the silver night

But I am the misfit

I flirt with disaster

Things will get better darling

But I am a boat sailing on the sea

Hoping one day I'll make a dream last
