Boat of Companions

If ever you feel that you are at your wits' end,

Know that you'll always have a friend.

And when you are feeling down,

I'll make a smile from that frown.

When you feel nothing but sorrow,

Know I'm here today and every tomorrow.

And if your sadness takes your stride,

I will be there by your side

To pick you back up and help you back home;

For, while I'm here, you are never alone.

Life gets hard, but friends make it easy;

As proof I wrote you this poem, most cheesy,

To show you that there are people who care;

And remind you that for you I care.

So rest assured, yes, have no fear;

For you, my friend, I'll always be here.
