Boat of Love

Dear Love,

My heart floats over the sea in a tiny wooden boat.  Every wave life throws at me causes the boat to rock and almost sink.  Sometimes I feel as though the waves are stronger than the materials of the boat.  Falling in love has brought a new set of problems.  Now my tiny boat holds both of our hearts over the sea.  It is easier for the world to bring us down; as easy as a wave bringing us to the bottom of the sea.

I wonder how long this boat can float?  Will our boat continue on for all to see?  Or will this tiny boat of love be lost within the sea?  Today I’ve watched the storms worsen.  I’ve felt the waves throw us into turmoil.  Over this period I have realized it is wise to spend every moment as though it were our last.  Instead of worrying what will happen if our boat collapses, I will spend my time enjoying your company.

The sea will never stop cursing our fortune.  Forever we will battle against the waves.  Some days thunder will throw us into a confusion.  Others we will sail happily in the sun.  Whatever happens on this tiny boat, I just want it to happen with us.  The moment I lose your heart will be the death of me; forever I will be lost at sea.
