you

find

a place

outside (it’s safe) and run past trees and houses,

empty, of course, but full of memories to you. clouds above you cast shadows

ominously and you ramble onward to the sea, calling outward through the

fog of rain and fear and feelings you make it to the harbor and watch

the boats race each other past storms and seals, trash and wills,

gliding over water, they never see the rocks below, dangerous

to forget but boats are confidently cautious and charging

through the waves is nothing for them but

every

thing for

you
