Bodies

You He She Me We Separate static still Can’t feel Connection. To rethink is to rename Who is who and who is you-- Can we transcend our bodies Out of the body of society We hate and yet why don’t We change? Identity is what you think I am if I permit You Define my appearance, Ability and disability so close You Fear what you don’t know but Do you really know anything? Reexamine, redefine, The power of naming-- He Holds hands feet face eyes Soul mind, what equals body? She Believes her body is souly hers, But she doesn’t question Where does she End and society begin? Me-- To Exist when I see those who Wake up and smell the secret hatred, Expose and exalt me as Definition of body-- What is Yours His Hers Mine Ours?
