Bodies

I know you’ve seen them...

the bodies.

They were once young and plump and cheerful.

Now they are older and vow to be skinnier and happier.

if only that were how it worked my dears.

if only that were how it worked.

My darling,

you can wish to be something you are not,

but why when you are so beautiful,

do you wish to become nothing more than bones?

Don’t give up your life to be someone else’s idea of beauty.

Be you.
