This Body

My body has scars and one is shaped like Mars,

My body doesn't have wings so it can not be free,

My body is alone,

no matter how many things I own,

This body,

right here wants to cry,

and it does each night,

My body wakes up tired,

wanting a way to escape this mind that is a barrier,

This body,

this stupid,

dumb,

ugly,

wasted,

Body,

wants to die each day,

but this body will find a way to not decay.
