The Body Guard / Abu Karim

In the earth bound life the time of

guarding bodies has emerged.

At such a time I was promoted to

a higher post, and with that change

I got a privilege of a body guard.

A constable named Harun

was brisk like a small bird;

he only would move here and there

without any rest, and would fend

for himself if felt hungry.

Does this lump of flesh have any importance?

The treasury has to spend so much for

the live breath of this body.

A bureaucrat is useful to his boss,

but, other people of the world

he is not so.
