Body Love

Every day, all we see

Fat or slim, what should we be?

The media tells us "skinny is hot"

is that so or is it not?

We're taught to binge, barf, and repeat

But do this so, being discrete

This is what beauty means

But its not all what it seems

Beauty is more, it goes down deep

Into our souls, where we keep

Our secrets, our lies, our true insides

Who we are, the media lies.

Embrace yourself, love who you are

know that you, yes you, are a star.

Your body is yours, so take good care

Brush your teeth and comb your hair.

But do much more than just this

Love yourself and live in bliss.
