Body Over Mind

Dear Body,

Why must you always break down when I need you the most

Is it so hard to push a little longer for the sake of my happiness

Yeah, I get it's hard

Yeah, I get it wears you down

But I want it more than anything

Dance

I will not let you give up on me

I will decide when to stop

I know my limits, but without a little push

I stand still with no emotion

Dance

Help me learn to put my mind over body

And distract me from the minor pain

I can get through it

I need you

Always,

The person who will push a little harder for the thing she loves
