Boldness to Speak

Every day is just the same,

offensive talk and calling names.

Why is it that we speak of worldly things,

when it should be of the King of Kings?

I find myself hiding what I know,

instead of letting the light within me glow.

Wanting to fit in all the time,

my heart starts to fill with dirt and grime.

I wish I had the boldness to speak,

to be humble, lowly, and meek.

If I could change just one thing,

it would be to have the boldness

to spread the word of the King of Kings.
