A BOMB

red polish on my fingernails

braces on my teeth

proof enough of my aim

to be pretty enough for you

red lipstick on my lips

the slightest blush on my cheekbones

too trying you would say

to flaunt my dainty

tik tik tik

a bomb is about to explode

the mirror in front of me

am I pretty enough for you?

if you see me

would you be enchanted?

would you take me to your arms

before someone else's face steal your heart

tik tik tik

I'm running out of time

tik tik tik

beat this hesrt like a timebomb

tik tik tik

let me finish on time

tik tik tik

dear God slow down the time.
