Bonds That Bind

Friends are a treasure kept close to the heart

A fact soon learned through family moves

As you lose your treasure day in and day out

When the time comes at last and you must part

The feeling you get in your broken soul proves

That you're bound with new bonds, without a doubt

For our friends are a part we can't live without

So lets tell them, come with me, let out a shout

Tell every person who stood by in our lives

Gave us their help, gave us respect

Was there for the best, was there for the worst

Lets let them know just how we feel

For due to all they do for us

Our friends are a bond, bound to us

Needed in our lives, to keep us sane

Needed in our lives every day
