The Bones of the World

reading words that rhymed

that told a story in a form

not easily understood.

so beautiful and eloquent

my desire to become

a poet rose and I was born

into a new life.

baring my soul

showing my feelings

a means of escaping

into a personal world

of words winding

into something meaningful.

making a difference

in a musical way

dancing along words

that reach into the mind

spinning visual images

easier to view

beatiful to perceive.

not always rhyming

telling stories

giving other views

slowly peeling away

various layers of the world

sharing the diversity

not always seen.
