The boogeyman
The boogeyman is always lurking
Tormenting me in my sleep
Burning me when I'm try speaking
Regretting the promises I didn't keep
He keeps me roped down
Strangling me in deep waters
Where I always drown
Ripping me to shred leaving me slaughtered
Suffacated by the weight
Seeing the shadow of myself smiling
Looking at the dumb decisions I made
Not questioning anymore why I'm drowning
I Drive myself insane
The guilt strikes me always
I don't take the blame
just cry and lay
wonder why everything goes wrong when I don't get it tamed
I try to escape but trapped in the abyss
In need of comforting arms
Not realising my soul is priceless
In need self love and to stay calm
Muffling with my mouth sealed shut
Will I ever free myself from his clutches
Witnessing the scars from the cuts
Will I ever be unshackled from his dungeon?
