The Book

You can't talk back to me

I don't talk back to you

But the words you speak to me

I listen through and through

I can't look into a person's eyes

I studder when I speak

But the words you speak to me

I listen through and through

You judge everyone, but me

I judge your cover directly

You had me at the dedication page

Even if it wasn't directed to me

I'll put you down sometimes

You may even bore me to death

And even though you'll never change

You change me always
