This book called life
Did I make a difference? As this book I call my life ends I can't help but wonder if it even mattered. Did each chapter fulfill its purpose as I had hoped? Will this be the kind of book that reaches people more when it's over rather than while reading it? I hope not a second was lost nor in vain. This will end soon, as I am well aware, but did I do anything to make a difference? Even knowing my life is drawing a close, I find myself selfishly focusing on my own desires. Why, even in the midst of death, do I insist on continuing to live for myself? Don't I understand there is a bigger purpose behind ever page being written? Every word is pointing to a marvelous story that is, in fact, bigger than that of my own. When I go home, I don't want to go having not fulfilled my purpose. May every moment I have left, though only few, ultimately bring glory to my God Most High. He will soon welcome me home and then I shall find peace and rest in my marker's arms. Only then shall I be homesick no more. Amen.
