If I could be anything

I would be a book

Filled with adventures

Dashing heroes

Brave heroines

Cunning villains

There are always

happy endings

and fairytale kisses

That everybody loves 

and wants to read

because the story is so moving

and because they love me

my cover 

would be bent

and my pages would be ripped

and spine cracked

and that way I could explain

why I was used again 

and again.
