Book of Enoch

The strangeness of the empty place, nothingness surrounded by water,

I do not worry, I do not panic, I have no fear the unknown,

For I am with Enoch, namesake of he who walks with God,

With him I will be protected, cared for, never left alone.

This Book of Enoch is personal, for I know him, he is the head of our family,

For he is my mother’s husband, my father, my example of type of man to marry.

Enoch is a military man, a Ranger, Pathfinder, a leader to all,

Brave, resourceful, smart, he has survived when ordinary men would fall.

He is my strength, he is my provider, an example to follow,

Watching him and learning each day, he leaves no time to wallow.

He keeps me grounded on dealing with the changes life demands,

He makes sure I have what I need and I know that God guides his decisions, his hand.

He is my Daddy and I am his baby girl,

I am precious in his eyes, loved, an important part of his world.

So should I become lost, lose my way in any situation,

I know my father will pick up my pieces because he has taken care of this nation.
