A book on a Shelf

I walk with you day to day
What should i do
What should i say
I be myself
The girl on a shelf
Waiting for some one
To notice what makes me
Unique from all the other dolls
To treat me like a princess
Because he wants to
not because i'm fragile
I am not a child
I do however believe in fairy tales
So give me a sherlock
With. Logic and looks
A robin hood
With bravery and books
A knight in rusted armor
So i may see his true colors
Come and check me out
Look for me on the top shelf
