Books

They were my escape,

My escape from a world that dissatisfied me,

My escape from a world that was dissatisfied with me,

They welcomed me with tattooed arms and bright hair,

They welcomed me with sweet words of wisdom and feelings that I didn't realise I could express,

All different sizes, yet one continuous shape,

All different families, yet one lovely being,

They were my escape,

They were my escape that took me to other planets or just simply glorified the one I live on.
