Books

Books are married pages;

In faerie tales they wed.

When literature storms come to rages,

Haiku cyclones in your head.

The bookworms,

Book theifs,

Book wars

And book hoards

Singing songs of age;

All are spokes of magic wheels

From beneath

Your dreamy cage.

Then you are abducted

From the lands in your head.

But there you are,

Your novel open on your bed.

Thank you for reading,

Ladeen B.
