BOOM

And BOOM like the asteroid that conquered the Earth - And BOOM like the grandmother's last dying breath - And BOOM like the cry at the moment of birth - And BOOM like the close of a book, at its end - (When the murderer's caught and the lovers are wed and the infant is sleeping safe, snug in his bed.) Thus sang the birds like cannons and guns as my lover lay writhing beneath all forty suns.
