The Borders

If I could fly I would not leave the ground

Though I may speak I do not make a sound

I do not take the chance and give a fight

Right here I stand and never shall take flight

Though doors open my life is one straight line

The barriers of mind are what confine

My world stays open holding out for me

If only my eyes would open to see

Love lost, and chances I did never take

Prosperity is all that was at stake

To all of you, know comfort is a fiend

Since we all lie together in the end.
