Born for This

I strive to not be conformed.

I've got scars I've hidden,

and faced the scorn of all my lies,

but never cried.

Know Why? Cause I was born for this.

They yell in my face,

call me a disgrace

" you're out of your element" " stay in your place!".

Yet, I stand calm at the disrespect I face.

Know why? Cause I was born for this.

They didn't know, about the prayers.

It never showed the inner chaos.

Still, I push and silence the nay-sayers.

Know why? Cause I was born for this.
