Born Again

When all that you have done is all that’s left to do

the days are short and sweet and soft

There are no chilling in betweens

which split our heads apart at seams

And roll them down an endless

winding slope

Its hard to push your past away

when bits of feelings tend to stay

Hidden deep, in places that youve built

Inside the cities in our heads

that dont stop running till we’re dead

That seem to place our past

around what we’ve become

We lead our friends down wondrous roads

that we ourselves don’t really know

the paths we build when passion blinds our paving

and when we reach the end we find

some god had hid our fate inside the hours

spent not knowing what was real

G Nathaniel

ignore the angst, the bathos, the pretentious pitfulls. If you read anything, be gentle. I guarantee it makes each word seem loose enough that its weight is left to the imagination :) write on!!
