Born a Disaster
I walk along an endless road. A path that can only bring me chaos. A road that can only lead me to my greatest fear. But I know the day has come and all of me has disappeared. I fly alone against the wind. And pray that my wings won't give in. And hope that I can find myself again. But wishful thinking is strong within. I'm fighting against a massive ocean. The current trying to do me in. The shore slowly tearing me apart. The loss of my caring heart. I'm running up against a storm. That's buliding up inside me, not ready to be warm. That's pushing me towards what I do not know. Yet this is how I choose to go. I'm in the midst of a tornado. Something that will consume me whole. Something I cannot escape. Something that has been damaging my soul. I feel the ground begin to shake. Then there begins a great earthquake. One that will bury me beneath the ground. Then I will never make a sound. A tsunami is about to hit. The world wasn't ready for it. These people do not understand what hit. There is no escape it will not quit. Can a hurricane redirect itself? Or does it take somebody else? To help it truly find its course. From tearing apart everyone's hopeful hearts. I walk along an endless road. A path that can only cause me chaos. A road that can only lead me to my greatest fear. But I know the day has come and all of me has disappeared. See I was born a natural disaster. A thing that can only beat, break, control, and consume you whole. A thing stuck within a never ending, impending doom. But this is how I choose to go. So before you go redirecting my hurricane. And trying to control what you know you are not capable of. Just remember the day will come when I will break you. Showing no mercy, .but a loss of kindness..........and a loss of love.
