Born a Winner

A lot of pain has broke me in the past

went downtown besides uptown

nothing but frowns to show around.

Ignorance held me from first than last.

I learned and learned as time went on

but very few times I said: "I won."

Should've slowed down, going too fast

ignorance held me from first than last.

However, as time goes on

your competition is about gone.

Playing checkers, no it's time for chess.

Excuse me, no need to battle the rest.

Ignornce led me to first than last.

See, the battle is already won

who am I to say that I lost this race.

Let your guard down, I rest my case

my wisdom was never off but on.

Ignorance led me to first than last.
