Botanical Gardens

Below the steep grass hill sits a Gondola

On its own image; a lake so still with beauty

Teal ducks and black swans seem to be lost in pleasure.

Afternoon shadows of tall trees begin to fall ...

Nearby visitors finish their drinks

Inside a cafe where a child wheels her grandmother to

Choose her favourite- strawberry ice cream.

All around her the petals of blossoms fall and the

Lillies floating among the reeds, upon a lake, are in her daydreams.
