Bother or Not

I was born in Siberia

abandon at birth

left alone on this earth

with no father or mother

was I such a bother

just another baby laying in a crib

staring at a wall with no love at all

eight months of my life has passed by

i could not stand but all I did was cry

than one day a couple came from the United States

took me in their arms and said this felt great

the plane was my stork as we landed in New York

as I grew older and flourished in my life

i realized how blessed I was to have a

father and mother who didn't think I was a bother.
