Bottled Inside

Words, Pictures, Stories, Memories ...Everything Runs through my mind, threatening to drive me insane. The longer they are trapped inside, the bigger the threat. My closed journal sits and tests my will power It beckons me from across the room. No. I must finish my work, my conversation, my life. My fidgety fingers ache for a pen. The feeling of my pen racing along the paper is like none other. A release. An unexplainable feeling of just letting go. I am able to write the unspeakable. Those words that will not leave my mouth but seem to flow from the tip of my pen. Acting as a cage, the paper holds my biggest fears in a place they will never escape from, Unless I allow it. I have control. The paper keeps my secrets It doesn’t judge me. It will never interrupt while I’m spilling my soul onto it. Everything I feel is embedded within this object, So simple yet so complex. Filled with every detail of any relationship of mine that is destined to fail, every dream of mine and . Flip to the next page. A new canvas to continue my life story on. Who cares if it doesn’t make sense? Its out of my mind. I can finally breathe.
