At the Bottom
My mind's sinking
Boat's thinking
Hearts bumping and
Music thumping
Even evil evolves
Reality rarely revolves
Unless the liquor cabinets empty
help me
My vision slurs and words are dizzy
What is this living but keeping busy
And right now my mind's preoccupied
It's stupefied
Or more correctly its stupid-fied
No barriers No boundaries
I do what I want when I want to do it
Regret it all in the morning like we've all been through it
Liquid courage with my nikes on I've got enough to just do it
These serums are addicting
Weekends are reruns of bodys afflicting
Great times and damaging harm
Harm is great and time causes damage
Some people live this mindset just to manage
Evolved a beverage to create the evolved mind into a savage
No officer I haven't been thinking
Thinking about sinking myself in a tonic
A drink that for making me think and speak backwards and switched is iconic
Cheers to anyone that finds this ironic
I’m not an alcoholic it’s just the demons inside of me get thirsty
They bring out the worst of me
Visions blurred but their hindsight is astounding
They want to create mayhem using me it’s basically denouncing
Maybe this isn’t something I should be announcing
See on the outside I’m Brad Pitt but on the inside I’m Tyler Durden
I’m Gods forgotten burden
Certain that he knows not of my struggle
Smuggle happiness in these demonic veins
Cranes and tractors to construct a feeling
Days like these I want to spraypaint the Sistine Chapel ceiling
Piss on Mona Lisas smile Paint the White House shit brown and make Queen Elizabeth feel veil
I’m not sadistic but a realistic
They say life’s your canvas I’m just being artistic
People admire the Van Goghs but I prefer the Jackson Pollocks
Grab life by the horns I’m grabbing it by bollocks
Clutch a bottle or two
A beer or a few
Pale in the face facing the garbage pale
Hail down my darkest emotions
My nightmares infused in these potions
Divide reality to realize the lies equals the quotient
Every dreams success I dream about breaking even
I’ll be buried with my bottles because I don’t think God serves vodka in eden
I’d fail the sobriety test if they tested the alcohol level in my semen
I’m only 19 years but my minds real old
I relate this to you since this story has to be told
Give a teen problems and an escape and watch the addiction unfold
Truth be gold
But escape is platinum
This is why some people don’t reach for therapy they reach for a magnum
Smack crack coke smoke
Poverty disease and famine
If you want to stop drugs and alcohol here’s the cases to examine
You think this can be solved with dare programs and interventions?
These poisons planted with only the best intentions
Governments ask what is it they’re not seeing
I reply I am not an advertisement welfare requirement crack baby smack save me drug lord teenager bored raver or serious craver
I’m just a hurting human being
