Bottom of a Pool


As a kid I sunk 

to the bottom of 

a pool, thinking that

everyone above water

deserved love and

everyone below didn’t. 

 

Nowadays, the only 

difference between how 

I think compared to back then,

is that back then I believed I

didn’t deserve hate either.
