Bottoms Up


Dear Dad,

at the age of three I could see

that you had chosen a bottle over me.

Your left hand was holding a cigarette and your right holding a beer.

It sucks knowing that that was more dear. 

I wish you had held me as securley as your drink 

but when you didn't have it, it seemed that you were missing a link. 

there goes another empty bottle in the trash, clink.
