Bound

When the world comes together,
To answer a call,
We make an effort,
For one and all,

We feel a place,
Where we begin,
To see the hope,
From deep within.

We need to keep,
This hope alive,
To kick the can,
And just survive.

There’s more at stake,
In the effort we make,
Or all we pay,
For all we take.

When the world sings together,
We hear a sound,
That lets us know,
We all are bound.

There’s nothing greater,
Than a beautiful sound,
Of a body of people,
Equally bound,

By a common effort,
Or the hope we see,
From the love there is,
Or could possibly be.

We are the world,
We’ve heard the song,
The time is now,
To sing along.

There’s nothing greater,
Than the beautiful sound,
Of a body of people,
Beautifully bound.
