As the Box Disnintegrates
In the closet of my Florida home,
you may find a small box behind scattered cleaning supplies.
Your eyes sweep past it, blissfully unaware with the fact that the box is curled in an uncomfortable position.
Barely breathing,
Barely alive.
In the closet of my Florida home,
the box lies and marks start to appear on the cardboard. It seems to be bleeding.
Your eyes seem to notice the change, but you close the door and leave the box in that unomfortable position.
Barely breathing,
Barely alive.
In the closet of my Florida home,
the closet door is opened to find that the cleaning supplies have moved. The box is torn and damp. Bugs seem to have nestled in and made a home.
This catches your attention, and the box is opened.
Barely breathing,
Barely alive.
