Boxed Emotions

I think I know you,

Or maybe you're just a memory,

Now we're so far apart

Seperated after elementary

My heart still stings,

My mom still brings

food, money, and things

that make us happy

But your presence lurks us,

Like a monster under the bed,

Our fear and anger meshed into one

emotion that we cannot defend

Give up the fight,

Its been six years now,

I cannot comprehend,

What's going on in your head

Mom told me to hate no one,

But is it bad if I hate only you?

We could've had it all,

If it weren't

For your selfish heart,

Who wanted it all for itself

I love my family,

I love my life,

It is a blessing,

And my mom's sacrifice.
