Boxes
I’d like to return this box
It just doesn’t fit me
I want the one that I chose
Not the one that’s given
I’m not ungrateful
It’s just
The ones given never fit right
The first one I got was way too big
And filled with glitz and glam and no privacy
I wanted that at first
But
Things have started to change
Believe me I tried to make it work
But I realized I don’t want everyone to know my name
The second one was too too small
It had visions of me doing track and throwing a ball
But truth be told
I rather play some chords
So please do me this favor and remove this box from my sight
The last one is the worst of em all
Its all beat up
In addition to that it had me on the cold streets without a sign of help anywhere
A disgrace to my family I wouldn’t dare share
So please just throw this one away
Finally I am free from those boxes and able to find what fits me
Down the aisle and around the corner I go…
That’s it!
The box on the wall!
That’s the one I want!
It’s perfect!
The size is nice and perfect for me.
No glitz and glam Barbie
No dirty sports
No poor and ugly
And for that, I’m proud
Plus that name…
I love it!!!
But I won’t tell you what it is…It’s a surprise only to be revealed at the end
