Boy

Rain thumps Against the window Pane. The wind Howls. A car horn sounds And lights flash Along with the Lightning. Car brakes Screech into Thunder. The world goes black. A small boy cries Into darkness For his Mother Who doesn’t Seem to hear. The thunder stops. All goes silent. Except the boy’s Muffled sobs.
