That Boy

How can he stand there and be so perfect?

So peaceful, not knowing how I feel.

Because with my looks, I know I don’t deserve it.

That love of his, his heart I want to steal.

When he looks at me, it’s a dream that can’t be real.

A single touch from his finger could drive me crazy.

As I summarize the events of the day during every meal.

Childish love, but love none the less, that leaves me hazey.

Only a stronger drug can save me,

From this obsession that dragged me down to a bottomless hole.

Without it, I feel that craving,

To be by this boy again, for I need him to know.

Because how can he be so perfect and not see

How much I adore him, how much he is involved in my teenage dream.
