That Boy

You know that boy That boy you see everyday At school or elsewhere You've known him forever But didn't ever think about loving him You both gave it a shot Promising to stay friends no matter what Even though it wasn't as long as you hoped it would be, You still had the best time with that boy No way can you hate him No way can you forget him He's there for you and you know He always was and always will be Such a common name is a constant reminder of the love you once shared Little things all around remind you of that boy and all he did He said he'd be your first kiss But that never happened, probably never will You got jealous because he's with someone new He still hugs you often And you wish you could hold on forever That boy will never go away That boy will never leave your thoughts No matter how hard you try You still love that boy And you hope that boy still loves you But you're not sure of anything at all
