The Boy

The one you thought was perfect for you

With the smile of his that just made you stop

The one able to make everything alright

With that big teddy bear body

You just wanted to hug

To keep you safe from everything else

The one that made you stop in mid-sentence

Just to see him pass by

With the brains and the looks

The one that was your 10

But doesn't look back

To notice your better for him than that other girl
