The boy

I look at the boy,

The boy looks at me.

It almost seems like eternity ‘till we speak.

Wearing a white collared shirt,

And black dress jeans,

He then speaks to me,

A ruined cross along his neck,

Indeed.

“Madame, my father may speak with you at once,

One indeed.

He has a tight schedule you see,

Meeting all with a greet.

Now let us see him please,

With a smile and a greet Madame,

Indeed.

The boy grabs me,

Away from the life I had and people I see.

With the snap of my neck I look back ahead,

Terror filling my bones,

As my beat slows down to a no,

Indeed.

I look at the boy,

Trying to be calm as the darkness goes,

As my beat stops to a no,

As he burns at the touch.

My breathing slowing down,

My lungs giving out,

As I question with a final breath,

Indeed.

“Who are you, my boy?

Please tell me who.

Tell me who,

Indeed.”

“My name’s Lucifer, Madame.

Lucifer is me.

My father needs to meet you now.

Just one time is all her needs.

One last time,

Indeed.”
